Re: O (a child)
This is a very sad case concerning a child who was brain-damaged at birth. Ed Foster acts as Deputy, managing and administering the daily affairs of this young boy, and has dealt with this case from a very early stage (the boy's family were referred to FostersLaw by the Solicitors acting in the clinical negligence proceedings), all the way through to judgement, at which time a large lump sum payment was ordered to be paid, together with large sums annually towards the boy's expenses. This case has involved: application for Receivership Order; conversion to a Deputyship Order; creation of trusts; purchase and adaptation of a property for the young boy's occupation; day to day management of the award. This case is ongoing.
